This Fourways home now runs on 16 x 450W mono-crystalline panels paired with a 10kW hybrid inverter and a 10kWh lithium battery bank. The system was designed to cover roughly 95% of the household’s daily energy consumption, dramatically cutting reliance on the grid and keeping the home running through load-shedding.
All electrical work was completed to SANS 10142 standards and a Certificate of Compliance was issued on handover. The family have since reported dramatically lower electricity bills and no more disruption during outages.
